Chipgenius V421 Fixed Jun 2026

Insert the broken USB flash drive directly into a motherboard USB port (avoid external USB hubs). Right-click ChipGenius.exe and select . Locate your drive in the top window pane and click on it.

The evolution of flash drive diagnostic tools is best represented by ChipGenius

Your USB flash drive or SD card suddenly stopped working. It shows "Write Protected," displays "0 Bytes" of space, or refuses to format entirely.

ChipGenius is a portable, freeware utility that queries the internal registers of USB devices. It bypasses the operating system's standard storage driver layers to communicate directly with the hardware. chipgenius v421 fixed

On many modern versions of Windows (specifically Windows 10 and Windows 11), older versions of ChipGenius (and even some v4.21 builds) fail to detect any USB devices. They simply show a blank list.

Review the detailed technical breakdown displayed in the lower pane.

Many USB 3.0 drives from 2014-2018 use Phison PS2251-03, PS2251-07, or SMI SM3267 controllers. The fixed v4.21 identifies these with 99% accuracy, including the exact firmware version. Insert the broken USB flash drive directly into

The USB drive uses a brand-new controller chip released after the tool's last database update, or it is a counterfeit drive with a scraped, unidentifiable chip.

The "Fixed" version hadn't just repaired the tool; it had unlocked a backdoor into the newest generation of corporate encryption. Elias watched as the drone’s secrets—flight paths, manifests, and something labeled Project Icarus —unspooled before him.

If v4.21 fails, try Flash Drive Information Extractor or the older ChipGenius v4.19 . The evolution of flash drive diagnostic tools is

Using ChipGenius v4.21 Fixed to restore a non-working flash drive involves a multi-step diagnostic and flashing process. Step 1: Environment Preparation

The "v4.21 Fixed" release is a specialized, community-modified version of the official v4.21 codebase. It patches known stability bugs, updates the hardware ID database, and resolves frequent crashes encountered when scanning modern USB 3.0, 3.1, and Type-C controllers. Key Capabilities

Example: If ChipGenius identifies a controller, you would search for "Phison PS2251-07 MPTool" to reflash the firmware and restore the drive. Troubleshooting Common ChipGenius Issues Even with the "Fixed" version, you might encounter issues:

Running a low-level factory MPTool will completely wipe the flash drive. It clears all partition tables and data sectors. Use this process to salvage the physical hardware, not to recover lost files.

Extract the archive. Right-click ChipGenius.exe and select . Step 2: Extract the Hardware Profile

1.  Crystal will only work with 32-bit database drivers - it cannot connect using 64-bit drivers.

2.  You would need the 64-bit Crystal Runtime modules.  I'm not sure whether they're available for VS2008, but I know they're available as part of the "Crystal Reports for Visual Studio 2010" download that works with VS 2010.

Dell,

I have installed CRRedist2008_x64 "Crystal Reports Basic Runtime fom Visual Studio 2008 (x64)".

But I don't know how applicattions can run this runtime. If I set target to "x64" or "Any CPU" it doesn't work.

Maybe ...
using CrystalDecisions.CrystalReports.Engine;
... has to be changed to another reference??

Thank you

[Edit] I found this... Is it valid today? http://scn.sap.com/docs/DOC-21528

For the link - there are newer updates of the software it mentions as well as completely new versions of Crystal - Crystal 2011 and Crystal for VS 2010 - so it's partially still valid, but not completely.

I finally set target to "x86" in WinForms applications.

I must find out what to do with web application when we change server to x64. We can not update the project to VS2010 because it is a very large VS2008 solution.

Thank you

Francesc
