This page describes rEFInd, my fork of the rEFIt boot manager for computers based on the Extensible Firmware Interface (EFI) and Unified EFI (UEFI). Like rEFIt, rEFInd is a boot manager, meaning that it presents a menu of options to the user when the computer first starts up, as shown below. rEFInd is not a boot loader, which is a program that loads an OS kernel and hands off control to it. (Since version 3.3.0, the Linux kernel has included a built-in boot loader, though, so this distinction is rather artificial these days, at least for Linux.) Many popular boot managers, such as the Grand Unified Bootloader (GRUB), are also boot loaders, which can blur the distinction in many users' minds. All EFI-capable OSes include boot loaders, so this limitation isn't a problem. If you're using Linux, you should be aware that several EFI boot loaders are available, so choosing between them can be a challenge. In fact, the Linux kernel can function as an EFI boot loader for itself, which gives rEFInd characteristics similar to a boot loader for Linux. See my Web page on this topic for more information.
Modified extensions often crash Civil 3D, leading to data loss and corrupted drawing files.
Always install official Autodesk Service Packs to keep the extension bug-free.
Hydraflow Express is a dedicated extension built specifically for Autodesk AutoCAD Civil 3D. It acts as an electronic calculator for daily hydraulics and hydrology tasks. Instead of jumping between spreadsheet models or separate command-line utilities, engineers can solve common design problems natively. Key Capabilities
For civil engineers and designers working with stormwater management, the has long been an essential toolset within AutoCAD Civil 3D . This powerful extension streamlines hydrology and hydraulics analysis, allowing users to perform everything from rational method calculations to storm sewer and detention pond design—directly inside the Civil 3D environment. Modified extensions often crash Civil 3D, leading to
Once launched, the extension's main dialog will appear, confirming the installation was successful. The extension can be used independently, and after it is running, you may terminate Autodesk Civil 3D if desired, though it is not necessary.

The transforms routine hydraulic and hydrologic calculations from time‑consuming chores into rapid, interactive sessions. By following the proper download and installation procedures—using official Autodesk subscription channels—you ensure a secure, stable, and fully supported environment. That is the true meaning of “extra quality.”
The is one of three Hydraflow applications that integrate with Autodesk® Civil 3D®. The complete suite also includes the Hydraflow Storm Sewers Extension and the Hydraflow Hydrographs Extension. While the other two tools handle complex storm sewer networks and full drainage basin hydrology, the Express Extension is specifically designed for everyday hydraulic and hydrologic tasks for individual, non‑network features .
By embracing legitimate, high‑quality tools and practices, you’ll maximize productivity, ensure compliance, and produce designs that stand up to professional scrutiny. Now that you have the complete guide, it’s time to launch Hydraflow Express and experience the difference for yourself.
